On-the-go Travel Fuel: Bob’s Bars
This blog post was made possible thanks to Bob’s Red Mill.
As much as I love traveling and exploring new places and experiences, there is no doubt that travel can become overwhelming. While you’re standing in airport lines, rushing through terminals, and coordinating departure times, it’s easy to forget to do simple tasks like eating a satisfying meal. I have found that keeping a few grab-and-go snacks conveniently tucked away in my carry-on is a travel necessity. As I am gearing up for the Food & Wine Family Reunion this weekend, I am so thrilled to have discovered my new favorite on-the-go snack: Bob’s Bars by Bob’s Red Mill!
Bob’s Bars are a tasty snack with real ingredients that you can pronounce. They are non-GMO, whole grain oat and peanut butter based bars, made with the simplest ingredients and natural flavors. And with the bars ranging from 210-230 calories, they provide the perfect energy boost to get you through a travel day. I love that they’re a great size to tuck into side pockets and little compartments, so I can carry a bunch with me at a time!
I especially love these bars because they come in the most nostalgic variety of flavors. Peanut butter always takes me back to my childhood—I think about coming home after a long day of playing outside to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the crusts cut off. HEAVEN! In fact, the Peanut Butter Jelly & Oats bar is quite reminiscent of a classic PB&J. The natural strawberry flavor delivers a perfect sweetness in tandem with the creamy peanut butter. My other favorites are Peanut Butter Chocolate & Oats and Peanut Butter Banana & Oats. I just love that each of the bars stand out in their own way and pack a flavorful punch to satisfy all of my travel cravings. These bars are truly a snack I love from a brand that I adore! They fit with my lifestyle, and fit in my carry-on, and they bring me so much joy!
